Esterbrook has been very clever in creating its new pen case. This 2Go cup (“to go cup”) allows you to take your fountain pens with you anywhere. Whether you’re in the office, at home or on the move, this is the perfect case for your writing instruments. Like a mug, you can put it anywhere and pick up the fountain pen of your choice.

The American brand has made its new pen case from a durable canvas. Its blue interior is lined with suede for perfect protection and comfort of your fountain pens. To prevent them from colliding with each other, the case has a removable suede-lined divider. It can hold 6 fountain pens.

The 2Go Cup pen case is embossed with the Vintage Steel Pens logo. It closes with a magnetic snap and a soft leather drawstring closure.

First of all, a distinction must be made between Japanese and European/American nibs. For the same line thickness given by the manufacturers (e.g. F), Japanese nibs will be thinner than European/American nibs. Thus, an F (fine) nib from Sailor (Japanese nib) will correspond to an EF (extra fine) nib from Jowo (German nib).

MS (Music): Stub nib with two slits (except for Sailor) whose beak parts open out sharply.
