TWSBI Classic sapphire blue fountain pen – an elegant, functional model for incredible writing

The TWSBI Classic is one of the few fountain pens from the brand that is not transparent. The barrel is faceted so that the pen does not roll off the barrel, and the end of the barrel has a beautiful metal knob to operate the plunger, on which two black rings have been cleverly placed to allow the cap to fit securely. The Classic’s cross-section, with a stainless steel ring, has been refined for a better grip.

The Classic is made of resin and has stainless steel trims. Its cap is completely waterproof and prevents the nib from drying out when the pen is closed thanks to its clever internal device. The model has an integrated piston filling mechanism that is activated by unscrewing the knob at the end of the barrel. A small transparent window shows the ink level.

The nib, engraved with the brand’s logo, is made of stainless steel and available in size M. Two colours are offered: sapphire blue and burgundy. In the base of the case, there is a small flat key that allows the owner to easily dismantle the pen. He will also find a small bottle of silicone grease for the maintenance of the piston, if necessary (to be used sparingly).
