For once, the Neapolitan brand is offering us a fountain pen with a delicate touch in its Futura collection. Made exclusively from hand-turned solid bars of resin, the model features flamboyant orange-brown hues reminiscent of tortoiseshell on the one hand, and shiny black resin on the other. This luxurious fountain pen has tapered ends and is adorned with gold-plated brass trims: fine rings that participate in the Futura’s refinement, and a clip with a roller so you can easily hang your fountain pen in your notebook pocket or on your jacket.

A transparent window lets you see the ink level, as the fountain pen has an integrated piston filling mechanism. And there’s an original twist: the upper part of the barrel can be unscrewed and removed completely. A superb gilded metal thread reveals itself and you have access to the brushed gilded metal plunger button.

The nib:

Maiora has equipped its model with a 14-carat gold nib manufactured by Jowo, beautifully engraved with its logo, and offers it to you in sizes EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, as well as in its flexible version in sizes EF and F.
