In its Indigenous People collection, Delta pays tribute to the Sentinelesi, inhabitants of the North-Sentinel Island in the Adamantine group of islands in the Bay of Bengal. These extraordinary people have managed to resist the influences of the outside world, preserving their deep connection with nature. On this island of less than 60 m2, they live protected by a dense thicket from which they emerge only to fish or to defend themselves from the dangers that threaten them. Their great determination has convinced the Indian government, on which they depend, to guarantee them protection and isolation.

In collaboration with the famous Milanese architect Francesco Rienzi, the Neapolitan brand has created a fountain pen in flamboyant colours reflecting the surrounding panorama: sky, sea, land and forest. Entirely handmade, it is a highly complex model made up of a large number of parts, with a succession of different-coloured rings and resin cylinders.

The trims are made of 24-carat gold-plated brass, including the clasp inspired by the rudimentary weapon with which the Sentinels hunt. Delta has decorated the top of the cap with a finial representing the island of North-Sentinel. The top of the body is engraved with the model number and “‘Delta Sentinelesi”‘. You can fill your Sentinelesi thanks to its integrated plunger mechanism.

The nib:

Delta has equipped its model with a 14-carat gold nib, decorated with a relief engraving of the silhouette of the island of North-Sentinel, and offers it to you in sizes EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1 as well as in its flexible EF and F version.
