Iro-joukei Sky of Kinshu Limited Edition fountain pen by Taccia – a seasonal model for precision writing
Literally meaning “Autumn landscape Sky”, the Iro-joukei Sky of Kinshu features colours which are typical of the month of November. The autumn leaves change colour from red to yellow-orange as the season cools.
Made from ebonite, the fountain pen has a long, perfect dodecagonal shape and is coated with several layers of urushi lacquer, giving it an unparalleled brilliance and shine that enhances the instrument.
This lacquer, which comes exclusively from the sap of the Chinese lacquer tree (an Asian tree), has been used for thousands of years as protection once it has been applied to objects and dried. It has an incredible capacity to resist corrosion, scratches and even impacts. As a result, this type of fountain pen has an exceptional lifespan that can easily be extended over several generations.
The brand has adorned its model with a superb clip in a stylish silhouette. Gold-plated, it contrasts superbly with the red colour. The threading of the section is in metal, a testament to the brand’s seriousness.
The Master lacquerer has affixed his signature and the model number to the top of the body, since he designed 88 of them worldwide.

The two-tone 14-carat gold nib is made by Sailor and is available in sizes EF, F, MF, M, B, MS and Z.
