Pelikan has created the designs for its Souverän as a tribute to the works of art of the Renaissance Masters. Magnificent brown marbling combined with cream shades and pearlescent effects make the Renaissance a model of breathtaking beauty.
The fountain pen is made from high-quality turned resin, which has been carefully polished to give it its full lustre.
The various rings, the top of the cap and the clip are plated with 24-carat gold. Particular attention has been paid this time to the central ring and the ring announcing the plunger button: the alternation between smooth gold and brushed gold is extremely beautiful. Other elegant details include the finial with the famous bird at the top of the cap and the magnificent clip in the shape of a pelican’s beak. The fountain pen is filled by an integrated piston. An example of Pelikan’s fabulous workmanship: each fountain pen is assembled by hand.
The nib:
The magnificent two-tone nib with the brand logo is made of 18-carat gold with partial rhodium plating. Its length is impressive, measuring 27 mm. It is available in sizes EF, F, M and B.
