Alpha K Oroblu Limited Edition fountain pen by Maiora – a dazzling model for sumptuous writing

Breathtaking in its aesthetic appeal, the Alpha K is immediately captivating for the beauty of its colours. Its predominantly blue and black hues add luminosity and sparkle to the model. Depending on how the fountain pen is held up to the light, certain colours seem to fade momentarily, giving way to new ones, each more brilliant than the last.

Luxurious fountain pen in a limited edition of 388, it is adorned with gold-plated brass trims: fine rings, a roller clip and a superb ring at the bottom of the cap featuring the famous high-relief engraving so dear to the Italian brand, inspired by the antique design of Pompeii. The model number is engraved on the bottom of the cap.

The Alpha K Oroblu has an integrated piston refill system, so you can check the ink level through an attractive window. There’s an original little feature: the upper part of the body can be unscrewed and removed completely. A magnificent gilded metal thread is revealed and you gain access to the plunger button, luxurious as it’s also made of gilded metal.

The nib:

Maiora has equipped its model with a 14-carat gold nib manufactured by Jowo, beautifully engraved with its logo, and offers it in sizes EF, F, M, B,  Stub 1.1 as well as in its flexible versions in sizes EF and F.
