Phaeton 300R Mineral blue fountain pen by Esterbrook – a vintage model for nostalgic writing
The Esterbrook Phaeton 300R Mineral blue is a remake of the brand’s original model, released in 1964. Made from a 1960s-inspired acrylic resin, the fountain pen has a vintage-inspired colour: Mineral blue. The style is sleek, with a slim ring to match the clip, both of which are gold-plated.
While the body remains sober, the slightly oversized cap has been carefully crafted. Made of brushed metal and embellished with a gold-plated clasp, the contrast with the smooth side of the body is most beautiful. A small cabochon located at the top of the case and in the same colour as the body gives it an extra touch of elegance.
Its nib:
The hooded nib does not dry out very quickly, allowing the user to leave the pen open longer. Its nib is made of gold-plated stainless steel and is only available in size M. The piston converter that comes with the pen screws onto the section.
The Phaeton 300R Mineral blue is presented in a beautiful red box with a magnetic closure decorated with the brand name.
