The Venetian writing instruments made in the late 1920s were distinguished by more than just a new name. During the years of the craft industry’s resurgence, bold industrial design characterised many of the region’s best exports. In this archive re-edition, subtle flourishes reveal traces of local enterprise and pride.

The fountain pen is crafted from a flamboyant resin in black and orange, and boasts a silhouette that is as original as it is aesthetically pleasing. Montegrappa engraved its name on the body. The trims are in plated brass, including the Venetian brand’s famous rotating ballpoint clip.

You can refill the fountain pen using the enclosed screw-in converter, or with standard international-size short or long cartridges.

The nib

The 14-carat gold nib is stylistically engraved. Montegrappa offers it in five sizes: EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1.
