DV 2.0 Premium Fountain pen by Delta – an iconic model for precision writing
The Dolce Vita, renamed DV in 2026, is undoubtedly Delta’s flagship model. It is entirely handcrafted from a solid bar of pearled resin. Its famous bright orange colour has contributed to the Dolce Vita’s reputation and has since become synonymous with the brand itself. The upper section and the cap are black, as is the barrel. The Mid-size version is the intermediate model, between the Slim and the Oversize.
For its 2.0 Premium version, the Neapolitan brand has opted for tapered ends and has highlighted the superb central band with two yellow-orange rings. The design of the ring, which features a high-relief engraving inspired by the ancient design of Pompeii, is created using the lost-wax casting technique, an ancient goldsmithing method, with the entire piece finished and polished by hand. It is made of 925 sterling silver plated with gold (vermeil).
Delta has also opted for an integrated piston filling system that allows you to fill it in a jiffy. Note the original little touch: the upper part of the barrel unscrews and can be removed entirely. A superb gold-plated metal thread is revealed, giving you access to the brushed gold-plated metal piston button. A small window at the bottom of the barrel allows you to check the ink level.
The trims are gold-plated brass: fine rings and a roller clip. The internal thread of the barrel is metal.
Maiora has equipped its model with a 14-carat gold nib manufactured by Jowo, beautifully engraved with its logo, and offers it to you in sizes EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, as well as in its flexible version in sizes EF and F.
