With this new creation, Platinum celebrates the 15th anniversary of one of Japan’s most iconic fountain pens. The 3776 Century Demonstrator 2.0 combines aesthetic refinement with technical innovations, designed for lovers of precision, reliability and functional design.
The fully transparent body offers a fascinating view of the sophisticated internal structure and allows the ink level to be checked at a glance. Its interior surface, reworked with a matte finish, reduces glare and highlights the technical and refined elegance of the Demonstrator design.
The famous ‘Slip & Seal’ mechanism has been improved: this patented system prevents ink evaporation and the nib from drying out for a period of 3 years (compared to 2 years previously) when the fountain pen is not in use. The section has been redesigned: reinforced and fitted with a rubber seal, it guarantees writing comfort, stability and leak-proof performance.
Each fountain pen is engraved with its serial number on the cap, highlighting the exclusivity of this limited edition of 2,000 pieces worldwide.
The 14-carat gold nib features a new engraving inspired by Mount Fuji, rivalling the original nib in terms of aesthetic appeal. Platinum offers it in F, M and B nib sizes.
