Located in the Northern Vosges Regional Park, Atelier De Laforêt designs beautifully crafted and particularly attractive products. The brand has created this notebook from tumbled cowhide leather. The grain of this leather is obtained by tumbling (a natural finish achieved through movement) rather than printing, on beautiful, large, premium quality full-grain hides.
These hides are manufactured by Tannerie Carriat, founded in 1927 and located in Espelette in the Basque Country. The colour palette and incomparable feel of the selected hides characterise the work of this long-established tannery.
The notebook features a full-grain leather cover, purple on the outside and violet on the inside, with matching stitching and an embossed brand logo. It closes with a purple leather lace and has a flap that allows you to store documents inside.
The cover contains a plain ivory paper notebook with 122 pages, measuring 21.5 x 15 cm. The blank pages of the notebook, which are stitched, will give you complete creative freedom. It is removable, so when it is full, you can replace it with an A5 notebook (21 x 14.8 cm). As it has a wallet-style cover, you can also replace it with a notebook measuring up to 22 cm long and 17 cm wide.
