Description

Cleaning kit for fountain pens by Platinum

This kit will allow you to clean your fountain pens of the following brands: Caran d’Ache, Esterbrook, Faber-Castell, Kaweco, Mont-Blanc, Montegrappa, Parker, Pelikan, Staedler, Visconti, Waterman and generally any fountain pen that can accommodate an international size ink cartridge.

Instructions for use:

  • unscrew the body of the fountain pen to isolate the nib section and carefully attach the dropper in place of the converter/cartridge
  • fill a 100ml glass with water (preferably lime-free) and dip it into the glass. Press the dropper several times to clean it roughly to begin with
  • fill a 100ml glass with water again, this time lukewarm, and a pack of ink cleaner concentrate. Leave the pen nib section in the glass overnight/overday
  • reattach the dropper and proceed as in the first operation
  • proceed one last time with pure water until it comes out clean and clear

Contents: 1 dropper, 5 packs of ink cleaner concentrate of 10ml.

This kit cannot be used with Platinum fountain pens. For cleaning Platinum fountain pens, the brand has created a dedicated cleaning kit which you can find by following this link.
