The 1670 inks commemorate the year Jacques Herbin was founded in the heart of Paris, originally to market sealing wax and later writing ink. The intense, deep colours of the inks in the 1670 collection are illuminated by gold glitter.

Herbin hand-waxes the stopper and seals the bottle in its own workshops.

As the shimmer inks contain fine particles, we recommend that you:

• shake the ink bottle well before filling your fountain pen
• roll your fountain pen between your hands before each use so that the particles are dispersed in the ink
• clean your fountain pen thoroughly once the converter is empty
