Ink Manyo 5th Anniversary Himeyuri 50 ml Bottle by Sailor
The Manyoshu is an anthology of poems dedicated to love and loved ones. Dating back to the 760s, it is the oldest collection of Japanese poems. It contains more than 4,500 waka, poems consisting of 31 syllables. For the 5th anniversary of the launch of Manyo inks, Sailor has selected five poems about unrequited love and created five dedicated colours.
Manyo Himeyuri ink, which means “Starlily”, is dark orange. It comes in a superb 50 ml glass bottle.

“Like the starlily blooming in the thicket of a summer field, unknown to anyone, my love remains a painful and poignant secret.”
