Maintenance kit for Sailor fountain pens by Sailor

This ingenious kit will allow you to clean your fountain pen, but also to refill the empty reusable cartridge, which is included, with the ink of your choice.

Instructions for use:

To fill the cartridge: fill the syringe with ink from your bottle then insert the needle into the cartridge, fill the cartridge with ink and immediately insert it into the section.

To clean your fountain pen: unscrew the barrel and immerse the fountain pen in a glass of water overnight to remove most of the ink. Then attach the wash nozzle to the top of the syringe and insert the device into the section. Dip your fountain pen into a glass of water and pull the stem of the syringe up. Empty the water into another glass, repeat the process until the water in the syringe comes out clear and clean.

You can also use a dedicated solution instead of water to clean your fountain pen more thoroughly. Especially if you use shimmering inks (with particulates). Click here if you want to buy cleaning fluid.

This kit is designed to be used with Sailor fountain pens only. The kit is not compatible with some fountain pens such as Realo, Chalana.
