The Professional Gear Roppongi is made from black resin with a brass section. It is adorned with gold-plated trims with an ionised coating to soften the yellow colour of the gold. The top of the cap features a finial representing the Japanese brand’s famous anchor.

The nib:

Sailor offers its Roppongi with a magnificent 21-carat gold nib (with ionised coating). It is available in sizes EF, F, MF, M, B, MS (equivalent to Stub 1.1) and Z. The Z (Zoom) nib has a spherical tip, making it suitable for left-handed overwriters (when writing, they “push” the fountain pen, whereas left-handed underwriters and right-handed writers “pull” it). Note that the line of the Zoom fountain pen is thick.
