For this new version, the Japanese company has chosen a resin of great clarity, almost radiant. It has enhanced it with an intensely shiny finish, achieved by incorporating fine pearl particles and delicate glitter that capture and diffuse light. The result is a remarkable effect, both elegant and luminous.
The model is adorned with fine rings on the body and cap, as well as a magnificent central ring engraved with the brand name and year of creation. Not to mention the clip, which, in addition to its aesthetic appeal, allows you to attach your fountain pen to your jacket pocket, the inside pocket of your bag, or your notebook.
Sailor has equipped its 1911L with a 18-carat ionised gold nib, superbly engraved and offer it to you in sizes EF, F, MF, M, B, MS (equivalent to Stub 1.1) and Z. The Z (Zoom) nib has a spherical tip, making it suitable for left-handed overwriters (when writing, they “push” the fountain pen, whereas left-handed underwriters and right-handed writers “pull” it). Note that the line of the Zoom fountain pen is thick.
