Did you know that there are more than 3000 species of jellyfish? This fascinating and majestic marine animal, which has been around for 650 million years, inspired Sailor to create its new Demonstrator. The Japanese brand has created five brightly coloured fountain pens with metashine (a shiny dust inside the resin), each featuring a different jellyfish species. Made of resin, the 1911 Fried Egg Jellyfish is amber in colour. When the light shines through it, its brightness is exceptional.

Its transparency will allow you to assess the ink level in the converter or cartridge. Its trims are yellow gold plated with ion plating: two fine rings, a beautifully engraved central ring on the cap and a clip allowing you to hang your fountain pen on your jacket pocket or notebook.

The nib:

Its 14-carat gold with ion plating nib , beautifully engraved with the famous brand’s logo among other things, is available in three sizes: F, MF and M.
