The deep maroon/burgundy colour combined with the gold-plated trims make this 1911 Slim a model of exceptional elegance. Classic and timeless, it is ideal for everyday use.
Made of resin, it is adorned with fine rings on the barrel and cap as well as the magnificent central ring engraved with the name of the brand and its year of creation. At the top of the cap is the nice Sailor anchor logo.
Precision: Sailor is changing the gold plating on certain models, including the Professional Gear slim and the 1911 slim. The brand has opted for 21-carat ionised gold plating, which lightens the colour of the gold. It is therefore possible that the model you receive does not correspond to the one in the photos, in terms of the colour of the trims and the nib.
The beautifully engraved 14 carat gold plated 21 carat gold nib is available in seven sizes: EF, F, MF, M, B, MS (equivalent to Stub 1.1) and Z. The Z (Zoom) nib has a spherical tip, making it suitable for left-handed overwriters (when writing, they “push” the fountain pen, whereas left-handed underwriters and right-handed writers “pull” it). Note that the line of the Zoom fountain pen is thick.

Ce stylo « Sailor 1911 slim – plume B » est élégant et raffiné. La couleur bordeaux est insolite. Mais, ce qui est admirable, c’est l’extrême précision des ajustements vissés.
Le trait de la plume Sailor de largeur « B » à 0.6 mm est exactement ce que je recherchais.
Et nous en sommes très heureux !

Magnifique, la couleur, le poids en main, la plume M est parfaite, le style…. tout est là pour ceux qui aiment les beaux stylos pas trop lourds, gros, imposant…. un peu comme un montblanc de jadis…. j’adore. Trés classe… finalement c’est le même que sailor pro gear slim…. seuls les extrémités du stylo changent….. and what else?….
