Dressed all in black and adorned with ionised yellow gold-plated trims, this fountain pen has a natural, timeless elegance. The 1911L (Large) is the larger version of the 1911S (Slim). Made from resin, the model is adorned with fine rings on the barrel and cap, as well as a magnificent central ring engraved with the name of the brand and the year it was created.
Sailor has equipped its 1911L with a 21-carat ionised gold nib, superbly engraved and available in sizes: F, MF, M, B and Z. The Z (Zoom) nib has a spherical tip, making it suitable for left-handed overwriters (when writing, they “push” the fountain pen, whereas left-handed underwriters and right-handed writers “pull” it). Note that the line of the Zoom fountain pen is thick.

Sailor has decided to discontinue this model and replace it with a new 1911L available in four glossy colours (with metashine: silver dust): black, blue, green, red (more like burgundy) and featuring an 18-carat gold nib.
