The expert’s opinion: beyond the intrinsic characteristics of the object, what is striking is its new design, which is certainly discreet, but beautifully realised, especially if one observes it in detail. Secondly, it is easy to use. The user may be disconcerted for a moment by the grip of the object – the clip is indeed upside down – but he or she will quickly get used to it. One may also be surprised by the modest size of the nib, especially when compared to the vast majority of pens, but this will not prevent it from fulfilling its function perfectly, with ease and precision. This fountain pen should therefore be the ideal companion for quick note-taking as it is also likely to become one of your favourite pens.

Capless LS Blue Fountain Pen by Pilot – a luxurious model for brilliant writing
The Capless LS fountain pen is the most luxurious and probably the most advanced version of Pilot’s famous Capless fountain pen. What makes this new model so special is not just its slightly modified – and successful – design, but a completely new innovation that now allows the retractable nib mechanism to be quieter (LS stands for Luxury & Silence).
A simple click allows the nib to appear thanks to a brand new two-in-one push button located at the top of the pen, a small twist of the fin located on the same button allows it to disappear, activating at the same time a tiny shutter that will protect the nib from any impurity and prevent it from drying. This ingenious system allows the model to be handled with one hand.
Made of lacquered steel, the body is composed of two parts, both adorned with a fine curved ring with meticulous guilloche work, which are joined by a metal screw thread. Its clip in the upper part of the body is thinner than that of the original model.
The Capless LS is available in three lacquered colours – deep black, silky blue, refined burgundy.
Its rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib is discreet and slender, which accentuates the aesthetics of the Capless LS. It is available in three sizes: F, M and B.
To fill the fountain pen, simply unscrew the upper part of the barrel at the ring to reveal the converter attached to the fountain pen.
The Pilot Capless LS Blue fountain pen by Pilot will be delivered to you in an elegant box containing a full-grain leather case, a microfibre case, a 50 ml bottle of black Iroshizuku Take-sumi ink, a box of 12 black cartridges, a cartridge cover and a warranty card.

C’est mon 2ème achat d’une plume japonaise et cette fois ci en “F”. Ce stylo, pour moi, était une curiosité de technologie !
J’ai pris le temps de le tester pour de la prise de note rapide et il est parfait. Après 2 semaines au repos, il réécrit tout de suite et c’est vraiment étonnant.
Bien équilibré au niveau du diamètre, l’écriture se fait toute seule, la plume est bien visible bien que l’on s’imagine quelle soit plus petite sur les vidéos.
Le coffret de se stylo est complet et bien fourni : flacon d’encre, cartouches et surtout l’étui de protection qui convient à ce stylo “particulier”.
C’est vraiment une belle découverte, j’en suis content !

Un stylo de haute qualité. Pilot fait très fort ; il est certain qu’il m’accompagnera chaque jour… Je ne m’attendais pas à cela, moi qui suis traditionnellement attaché aux stylo conventionnels Japonnais. La plume F est fluide et adopte rapidement votre style. Merci N+U.
