Rosa Sky Blue Fountain pen by Laban – an architectural model for passionate writing
The Taiwanese brand drew its inspiration for the Rosa fountain pen from the architectural style of the Neoclassical period (1750-1810). This is evidenced by the shape of the model as a whole, with the ends of the barrel and cap being conical in shape. But also the trims, in particular the angular shape of the clip and the superb engraved ring typical of the period.
The Rosa is made from sky blue acrylic resin, with occasional brighter flashes adding to the model’s luminous appeal. Its trims are in gold-plated stainless steel.
Its nib
The two-tone nib, manufactured by German brand Bock, is made from gold-plated stainless steel. The brand has beautifully engraved it with its logo and the number 3952, which represents the height of Jade Mountain (Yu Shan) in central Taiwan. Laban offers it in four sizes: EF, F, M, B.
