With the Virgil edition, Visconti pays tribute to one of the most iconic figures of Dante’s Divine Comedy. A revered poet of Antiquity and Dante’s guide through Hell and Purgatory, Virgil embodies reason, wisdom, and the pursuit of knowledge. Traditionally depicted wearing a flowing white tunic and crowned with laurel leaves, he now inspires a writing instrument of timeless elegance.

The fountain pen features a refined acrylic resin body in delicate ivory tones, subtly accented with shades of laurel green and fiery red. These colours evoke both the nobility of the poet and the trials he faced throughout his journey alongside Dante.

Magnificent gold-plated brass trims enhance the fountain pen’s refined appearance. First, the clip: in addition to its spring-loaded design, it features the brand name, finely laser engraved. Next comes the elegantly enameled central ring, beautifully crafted and exquisitely detailed. Finally, a finial adorns the top of the barrel, while the cap finial, also enhanced with enamel, proudly displays the Visconti logo.

The serial number is engraved on the top of the cap, marking this edition as one of only 999 pieces worldwide, a number that echoes the sacred symbolism of the numbers three and nine, which are omnipresent throughout Dante’s Divine Comedy.
