The Dolce Vita is undoubtedly Delta’s flagship model. It is made entirely by hand from a solid bar of pearled resin. Its famous bright orange color contributed to the reputation of Dolce Vita and has, since, been associated with the brand itself. The upper body and cap are black, as is the section. The Oversize version is the largest model, alongside the Slim and the Mid-size.

Its trims are in gold-plated brass: fine rings and a roller clip. The superb central ring at the bottom of the cap is in gold-plated solid 925 sterling silver (vermeil). Its design featuring a high-relief engraving inspired by the ancient design of Pompeii is obtained by lost-wax casting, an ancient goldsmithing technique, and is hand-finished and polished. The internal thread of the body is metal. The top of the cap is adorned with a superb metal finial engraved with the brand’s logo.

You can fill the Dolce Vita Oversize in three ways: with a standard international format cartridge or a converter (supplied). You can also use a pipette or syringe (not supplied) to fill the barrel of the fountain pen directly with ink, which then acts as a reservoir (eye-dropper system).

Its nib:

Delta has endowed its model with a majestic nib (No. 8) made by Jowo. Made from 14-carat palladium-plated gold, it is beautifully engraved with the Delta logo and comes in three sizes: F, M and B. The feeder is made of ebonite.
