With the Estie Spaceview, Esterbrook draws inspiration from an iconic piece of Accutron history: the Spaceview watch, introduced in 1960, which boldly placed its mechanism at the heart of its design rather than concealing it. This collaboration brings that same philosophy to the world of writing, turning transparency into a defining aesthetic feature.

Esterbrook crafts the Estie Spaceview entirely from polished transparent acrylic, placing it firmly within the Demonstrator family. The clear body reveals every detail of its construction, from the filling system, connectors and threads to the components that make the pen work. Even the converter or ink cartridge remains clearly visible once the fountain pen is filled.

Color also plays a central role in this edition. The section features Accutron’s distinctive green, inspired directly by the original Spaceview. The vibrant shade contrasts beautifully with the bronze trims and gold-plated metal components, while the transparent acrylic brings these details into full view.

Accutron’s iconic tuning fork motif appears throughout the design in several forms. The lacquered emblem sits in the top of the pen (the finial), while the custom-designed cap ring echoes the same signature detail. The tuning fork also appears on the nib. Esterbrook discreetly incorporates its own name alongside Accutron’s, bringing the two brands together in a cohesive design.

Inside the cap, Esterbrook’s ingenious cushion cap closure helps keep the nib from drying out whenever the fountain pen is capped.

The No. 6 nib, made of yellow gold-plated stainless steel by German brand Jowo, is available in three five sizes: EF, F, M, B as well as the special nib Stub 1.1.
