Are you a big fan of the famous Estie? You’re going to love this compact version! Introducing the smaller, vintage-inspired Niblet. The slightly oversized cap is screwed onto the top of the barrel to give the fountain pen a perfect grip. In place of the clip, a small rectangular metal plate prevents the fountain pen from rolling off the table. Esterbrook has embellished the top of the cap with a metal tablet displaying its logo.

For the Honeycomb model, the American brand was inspired by the world of honey and bees. The different amber-coloured mosaics offer a palette of nuances that are particularly beautiful when the fountain pen is held up to the light.

Esterbrook ‘s name is stylistically engraved on the cap. All the trims are in gold-plated stainless steel.

The nib:

The No. 6 nib from German brand Jowo is made of gold-plated stainless steel. It is available in eleven sizes: EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Scribe, Journaler, Fude, Techo as well as the flexible EF and F versions (for more details on special nibs, please refer to the end of the sheet).

Details of special nibs:

• scribe nib: a B architect nib created by Josh Lax that allows you to write thin on the vertical line and thick on the diagonal and horizontal lines
• journaler nib: designed by Gena Salorino and based on the vintage Esterbrook 9314M nib; an M nib that tends towards the stub style, with a horizontal line that is thinner than the vertical line; soft and user-friendly for everyday use, it adds style to your writing, without being too big for everyday writing
• fude nib: an upward-curving nib that allows you to vary the thickness of the line depending on the angle of the nib
• techo nib: designed by CY of Tokyo Station Pens, with a b nib that varies its lines according to the angle at which you hold the fountain pen; when you hold it at a slight angle (low angle), the lines are thicker; at a higher angle, the lines are finer; more details.

These special nibs are compatible with all Estie fountain pens, so you can easily change nib if you own one or more Estie. Similarly, any Esterbrook No. 6 nib is compatible with the Niblet.
