Estie Botanical Gardens Gold Fountain Pen by Esterbrook – a spring model for a flowery writing
It’s spring! For its new Estie, the American brand has chosen bright colors illustrating spring gardens. It’s a real tribute to nature that we find through this kaleidoscope of floral accents, ranging from green to blue through purple and orange.
The Estie Maui is made of a high quality resin polished with care to give it all its shine and sublimate its magnificent colors. The different mosaics offer a palette of shades of the most beautiful effect depending on the orientation of the fountain pen to the light.
Its trims are plated in yellow gold: a thin ring at the top of the section and a wider ring at the bottom of the body, not to mention the clip that will allow you to hang your fountain pen on your jacket or on a notebook. The ingenious closure device (cushion cap closure) nestled in the cap ensures that the nib does not dry out when the pen is closed. The brand name has been stylized engraved on the cap.
Its nib:
The nib, from German brand Jowo, is made of yellow gold plated stainless steel. It is available in seven sizes: EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Flexible EF and Flexible F.
The Estie Botanical Gardens Gold Fountain Pen by Esterbrook is supplied with its converter and a cartridge. It is presented in a beautiful red box with magnetic closure decorated with the name of the brand.

Difficile de choisir mon premier Estie parmi tous les modèles plus beaux les uns que les autres ! Le stylo est très agréable en main et l’écriture est fluide avec un bon débit d’encre. Le “rebond” du capuchon avant de visser est surprenant mais plaisant. Un plaisir pour les yeux et un plaisir d’écriture !

Choisir un Estie n’est pas chose facile en effet, vu qu’ils sont tous magnifiques :)
Le rebond est dû au petit capuchon intérieur qui permet de maintenir la plume toujours humide.
