The expert’s opinion: beyond the intrinsic qualities of the pen, what is immediately noticeable is the positive impression one gets in terms of quality as soon as one holds the object in one’s hand. The famous JR Pocket from Esterbrook is now available in summer colours for the Paradise collection. Made of resin, the brand has dressed it up in bright colours: Orange sunset, Blue breeze or Lemon twist. Two rings enhance this pen, one on the body, which is quite thin, and the other on the cap, which is wider, on which the brand name has been engraved in a stylised way.
The top of the barrel has a metal finish. The trims are gold. To symbolise the durability of this pen over time, Esterbrook has placed its Eternity symbol on the nib and on the top of the cap in a superb finial.
The JR Pocket is offered with a German JoWo nib in yellow gold-plated. It is available in M size.
The fountain pen is supplied with a converter and an ink cartridge. The JR Pocket is presented in a beautiful red box with magnetic closure embellished with the brand name.
