After the Ripple Blue and the Ripple Magma, Sailor introduces the third in the series: the Aoine. Aoine literally refers to rice that is still green, alluding to the young rice plants at the beginning of the growing season. Ao (青) means “blue young” (or “green young,” depending on the context), while ine (稲) refers to the rice plant before it is harvested.
