The expert’s opinion: we can say that the Mitho Oro lives up to its name (oro means “gold” in Italian). This model actually presents all the signs of luxury. This bright orange color is extraordinarily brilliant. When you turn the fountain pen in your hands, you can see the dark tones give way to lighter tones, all the more luminous when the light hits them. The piston button nestled in the conical upper part of the body contributes to the splendor of the model. The 14 carat gold nib is extremely smooth and precise. Mitho Oro fountain pen by Maiora – a bright model for luminous writing
Afficionados of the Delta brand will be delighted to find in the Mitho by Maiora the magnificent brilliant orange colour that has helped to make the brand famous (remember that the Maiora brand was created by Delta co-founder Nino Marino, so it benefits from over 40 years’ experience and craftsmanship). Made exclusively from hand-turned solid resin rods, this luxurious fountain pen features conical ends.
It is adorned with gold-plated brass trims: fine rings and a roller clip. The superb central ring at the bottom of the cap is in gold-plated 925 sterling silver (vermeil). The design featuring a high-relief engraving inspired by the ancient design of Pompeii is obtained by lost-wax casting, an ancient goldsmithing technique, and is hand-finished and polished.
The number of the Mitho Oro has been engraved on the bottom of the cap. The fountain pen is fitted with an integrated piston filling system, so you can check the ink level through an attractive window. Its barrel top can be completely unscrewed and removed. A superb gold-plated metal thread is revealed and you access the brushed gold-plated metal plunger button.
Maiora has equipped its model with a 14-carat gold nib manufactured by Jowo, beautifully engraved with its logo, and offers it to you in sizes EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, as well as in its flexible version in sizes EF and F.

Stylo de la marque Maiora, petite soeur de Delta, qui reprend et poursuit les codes, les matériaux et la qualité de la marque napolitaine. La résine orange est magnifique, le bouton de remplissage par piston en laiton doré très sophistiqué, la plume, B pour moi, remarquable de douceur et fluidité. Stylo de grande taille et de poids notable, comparables au dernier Sentinelesi de Delta qui, en plus élaboré, s’ajoute à la série antérieure “Indigenous people”.
