Do you remember the legendary film Gone with the Wind and, in particular, that memorable scene at Ashley Wilkes’ birthday party when Scarlett O’Hara appears, majestic, in a provocative deep red dress embellished with rubies and feathers? “What a lovely dress you are wearing Scarlett darling! Will you be an angel and help me welcome my guests?” Esterbrook has created the new Estie Scarlett as a tribute to this mythical Hollywood character and to all the romantic women of the silver screen.

The different colour mosaics, in which the dominant red is combined with midnight blue, offer a palette of nuances that are most beautiful when the fountain pen is held up to the light. The model is made of high quality resin, carefully polished to give it its full brilliance.

Its trims are gold-plated: a thin ring at the top of the section and a wider ring at the bottom of the barrel, as well as a clip that allows you to hang the fountain pen on your jacket or notebook. The ingenious cushion cap closure ensures that the nib does not dry out when the pen is closed. The stylized brand name has been engraved on the cap and on the nib.

The nib, made of gold-plated stainless steel by German brand Jowo #6, is available in three sizes: F, M, B.

The Estie Scarlett is supplied with its converter and a cartridge. It is presented in a beautiful red box with magnetic closure and brand name.
